A wonderful citrine ring from the Arts & Crafts era (ca1900)! This impressive piece is crafted in vibrant 18kt yellow gold and has a very decorative design. A faceted citrine stone is prong set at the center, displaying a beautiful golden yellow color. Surrounding the citrine is a wreath design comprised of flowing leaves, berries, and small flowers. Engraved detail adds texture to the leaves, and the three-dimensional design has a wonderful layered appearance. The underside of the ring reveals a webbed frame with an open center, and a simple gold band completes the design. Stamped inside the shank is "750" and "S." A very striking piece, it makes a fabulous statement when worn!
Measurements: The ring has a finger size of 6 but could be resized if desired. The centerpiece measures 1 1/8" tall, 3/4" wide, and sits 1/2" above the finger.
Condition: The overall condition of the piece is excellent. Besides normal surface wear, there is no apparent damage to the gold setting or citrine stone, which is secure and intact.
