A gorgeous carnelian ring from the Arts & Crafts (ca1910) era! Crafted in sterling silver, this lovely piece adorns a single bullet cabochon which rests in a simple yet beautiful mounting. The bezel set stone exhibits a rich, deep orange hue that comes alive as it catches the light beautifully in its open back setting. A delicate beaded border surrounds the carnelian and a feminine leaf motif adorns each shoulder, providing wonderful textural details to the design. The combination of the carnelian and the natural darkened patina on the decorative mounting is a perfect pairing, and finishing the design is a smoothly polished band at the back. This fabulous piece blends seamlessly into modern day fashion and would make a wonderful addition to any collection!
Measurements: The ring has a finger size 6.25 but it could easily be resized. The centerpiece measures approximately 5/8" tall and wide, and rests 1/2" above the finger when worn. The band measures 1.5mm at the back.
Condition: The overall condition of the ring is excellent. Besides normal surface wear, there is no apparent damage to the sterling silver setting, and the carnelian is intact and securely set.
