A beautiful opal link bracelet from the Arts & Crafts (ca1930) era! This lovely sterling silver piece is comprised of wirework links adorned with incredible opals, connected together to form a flexible bracelet. A single oval-shaped link rests at the center, with 8 opal cabochons surrounding a center stone. The remaining links are rectangular in shape and are embellished with bezel set opals in each corner and a single stone resting at the center. The opals exhibit a mesmerizing array of shimmery iridescent colors, including pearly white, orange, green, blue, violet, and golden hues. A lovely twisted rope design curves in between each stone and delicate polished beads are found throughout each link. A bar clasp and safety chain provides extra security and stamped on the back of the center link is "STERLING." A gorgeous and unique bracelet, it would make a perfect addition to any collection!
Measurements: The bracelet measures approximately 7.25" long. Each link measures about is 7/8" tall, 3/4" wide and is 1/4" thick.
Condition: The overall condition of the bracelet is excellent. Besides normal surface wear, there is no apparent damage to the sterling setting. The opals are intact and securely set. The bar clasp and safety chain are secure and in good working condition.
